Coupla Selectaz is the dynamic DJ duo of Cooper Dowling and Sarah Armstrong—
partners in both life and music. With a shared passion of music which brought them
together, their chemistry behind the decks is undeniable. Before forming their Dj duo,
Cooper honed his rhythm on guitar and drums, while Sarah cultivated her ear for
melody through piano. Both began DJing around four years ago, but it was their
decision to perform together last year that sparked something truly special: a
powerful synergy that infuses every set with excitement, momentum and energy that
never lets up.

Known for their uplifting, high- energy and genre-blending sound, Coupla Selectaz
deliver a unique mix of hard groove, hard house and Nostalgic Rave Classics with
Afro and Trance elements—balancing technical ability with raw, dancefloor-driving
emotion. Their sets have made serious noise in Melbourne’s club circuit, with
appearances at renowned venues such as Circus, New Guernica, Section 8, and
Brown Alley. As residents with Eat the Beat Melbourne, they’ve not only earned
industry recognition but also launched their own monthly takeover event in The Attic
of New Guernica, which has packed the venue consistently since its inception.
